first isolate y for each equation so that y = x^2 + 3 and y = 2x^2 + 2 now set those equal to eachother and solve for x,
x^2 + 3 = 2x^2 + 2
= √x^2 =
√1
x is +- 1
then plug in x for one of the original equations y = 1^2 + 3 = 4
x = +-1
y = 4
