Ok so lets split it up. 2/3v + 1/3v = 1v or v. -6/5 +1/3. Go from there :)

You are combining like terms.

= -6/5+4/15+(-2/3v)+1/3v

= -14/15+(-2/3v)+1/3v

= -14/15+(-1/3v)

That is the simplest form, therefore, it is the answer.
