what is the slope of the line that is perpendicular to the line y=2/9x+9/2

Y=mx+b 
m=slope
b=y-intercept
Seeing that 2/9 is the slope, the perpendicular slope is always the opposite reciprocal of the original slope. 
Your answer would be -9/2
