20+24-56 First use Distributive Property
44-56 Next do Addition
-12 Then Subtract

so i solve this with PEMDAS. Parenthesis, Exponent, Multiplication, Divison, Addition, Subtraction i use this in order or it won't work

4*5=20
4*6=24

20+24-56
so Add then Subtract
44-56
= -12
