Form a common denominator. That means take 14/20 and change it into a number divided by 100. Since 20 x 5 = 100, multiply 14/20 by 5/5. 5/5 = 1, so we are keeping balance in the equation when we do this. Since 14 x 5 = 70, and 20 x 5 = 100,
14/20 = 70/100
Answer: 70/100
