1. the line segment NO (or ON) is parallel because it is a bisector of the triangle JKL
2. NM= 23 because it is a bisector of the triangle JKL and bisectors of triangles are half of the length of the base
3. x=4 because NO is half of JK and so it 5x would need to equal 20 in order for JK to be 2x 20. 5x4=20 so x=4
