Kevin buys 1.5 pounds of dried fruit for $9. How much is he paying for one pound of dried fruit? Please help me!

I believe it would be $6 because both numbers can be divisible by 3. after you do that you would be left with 0.5 pounds = $3 after that you would divide 1 by 0.5 and get 2 then multiply that by 3 which is 6
