each friend runs 2.6 miles
So saying that all the friends run an equal amount of the 13-mile relay race...
the 13 miles are divided amongst 5 friends
so....
13 ÷ 5

Each friend would then run exactly 2.6 miles... that is if you wanted to solve it ;)
