This is equivalent to
f(g(x)) = x^2 + 1 That means wherever you see an x on the right, you put in g(x)

f(g(x)) = g(x)^2 + 1
f(g(x)) = (x - 4)^2 + 1 Now you can put in the 10
f(g(x)) = (10 - 4)^2 + 1
f(g(x)) = 36 + 1
f(g(x)) = 37
