'of' in mathematics means multiplication

[tex]\frac{2}{3} \times 8 = \frac{16}{3} = \boxed{\bf{5\frac{1}{3}=5.\overline{33}}}[/tex]

You would divide 8 into 3.
Then multiply that by two.
That will be your answer to 2/3 of 8!
