to divide fractions, remember the phrase “keep, change, flip” so keep 1/5, change the division sign to a multiplication sign, and flip 3/1 to make it 1/3. the new equation is 1/5 x 1/3, and multiple top to top, and bottom to bottom. 1 x 1 = 1, and 5 x 3 = 15. the answer is 1/15 :)
