First we need to convert the mixed umber to an improper fraction...

Multiply the denominator by the whole number the. add the numerator the. put that over the original denominator.

9×3 = 27 + 2 = 29/9

now we can multiply the two fractions... numerator × numerator and denominator × denominator.

29/9 × 7/3 = 203/27

reduce the fraction to 7 14/27
