Area of the whole place = 8 x 10 = 80 m²

Area of the patio = 1/2(5 + 3) x 8 = 32 m²

Area of the flower bed = 1/2 x 6 x 2 = 6 m²

Area of the lawn = 80 - 32 - 6 = 42 m²

Answer: 42 m²
